С нетерпением жду весной 2013 года третью часть книги, которую пишет Хелен Филдинг!
Пишет она её в скором порядке, так как уже очень скоро по ней собираются снять еще один фильм о Бриджит!

Признаться, иногда я узнаю в Бриджит Джонс себя.
Ну, а Марк Дарси ...
Если бы я и мечтала о принце на белом коне, то он был бы именно таким как он!

Renée Zellweger smoked herbal cigarettes rather than tobacco.

To prepare for the role, Renée Zellweger gained 25 pounds, and then actually worked at a British publishing company for a month in preparation for the role.
She adopted an alias as well as her posh accent and was apparently not recognized.
On her desk in this office she kept a framed picture of then boyfriend Jim Carrey.
Workers who did not recognize her found this to be odd, but never mentioned it to her for fear of embarrassing her.

Both leading actors' names, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant, are mentioned in the book. The first on "Tuesday 24 October" and the second on "Wednesday 16 August".
Colin Firth is himself a featured character in the book's sequel, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.
While audiences were eager to see Hugh Grant play a character opposite to his usual type-cast, it is ironic that original author
Helen Fielding describes him, in real life, as being more like Daniel Cleaver than any of his "normal" roles.

Aside from bearing a resemblance to Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice", the film also features a number of veterans of Austen film adaptations.
Writer Andrew Davies wrote the screenplay for Pride and Prejudice, which starred Colin Firth and Crispin Bonham-Carter.
Hugh Grant and Gemma Jones both appeared in Sense and Sensibility. Embeth Davidtz can be seen in Mansfield Park.

When Helen Fielding wrote the novel "Bridget Jones's Diary", she based the character of Mark Darcy on Colin Firth's depiction of Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.

Director Sharon Maguire was the real-life inspiration for the character of Shazzer in the novel.
A friend of Helen Fielding's, her name also appears on the acknowledgment's page of the book.

In order to make her English accent seem more natural, Renée Zellweger retained it on set even while not shooting.
Hugh Grant once noted that he did not hear her speak in an American accent until the wrap party,
after the film was completed, where he heard her speak "in a very strange voice" that he soon found out was her own natural tone.

Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004)

The role of Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) only had a very small appearance in the book.
The character was so memorable and popular that his part was extended specifically for the movie.

Bridget makes a comment about Mark wearing a wet shirt.
Colin Firth made a famous scene playing Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice where he appeared to Elizabeth Bennet in a wet shirt after swimming in a lake.

In the book, Bridget Jones is obsessed by the actor Colin Firth from the BBC TV series Pride and Prejudice, and even gets to meet him for an interview.
This plot-line is omitted from the film, where Firth actually plays her love interest Mark Darcy.
They did, however, film the interview scene with Colin dressed in his street clothes, and Renée Zellweger in character.
The scene is included in the DVD extras.

During an appearance on Oprah, Hugh Grant and Colin Firth revealed the scene of them fighting each other was not choreographed.
